For the Summer 2024/25 Season, the McKinnon Basketball Association has proposed a ruling where players must play in their natural age group first before playing up in another age group.
For example, a player with a birthday of 6 Jan 2014 and in Year 5, would be required to play in Under 12’s in Summer 2024/2025 and not ‘play up’ in Under 14’s.
If you would like to request for an exemption to this ruling for a player in the Summer 2024/25 season, please fill in the form below. The request will be reviewed by the Moorabbin Magic committee and if accepted, will be forwarded to the McKinnon Basketball Association by the club for review.
